From: Marc Majka <majka@ubc-vision.UUCP> The Local brew from Horseshoe Bay, B.C. (NOT in Washington State) is called Bay Ale, and is worth the trip to Horseshoe Bay to try. Horseshoe Bay is 20 minutes North of Vancouver on Highway 99. The Ale is slightly bitter compared to big-brewery beers, but every batch has a slightly different taste. It is available at a pub called Trollers. They are the first BC pub to be given a license to brew their own beer, but as a result of public enthusiasm over the product, in-house brewing licenses have been issued to other pubs in British Columbia. Watch for them if you are in the neighbourhood.
