While attending the University of Virginia (at that time notorious for the consumption of vast quantities of alcoholic beverages) I learned the following hangover cure from a Music Department professor: Take two asperin and drink lots (at least one quart) of WATER. Go to bed as soon as possible afterward as you are likely to have to make a few trips to the bathroom during the night. He contended that the worst effects of the hangover were due to dehydration and this certainly prevented that. This procedure worked for virtually everyone who tried it. Cheers.
