I have not seen very many of them available, particularly not ones that were better than my previous stopper which I found buried in the bottom of the freezing compartment's drip tray the morning after its first use. Glad you are enjoying yours, though. -- TJ (with Amazing Grace) The Piper ...uw-beaver!ssc-vax!tjj" Since uw-beaver is not forwarding our mail this week, and since I do not know another path to ssc-vax, I am forced to reply to your request via net.wines. Last summer while I was visiting the Napa Valley, I stopped at Domaine Chandon where I purchased a champagne stopper along with a few bottles of their excellent Brut. The stopper has the Domaine Chandon logo on the top. If you can't find this stopper in a local wine store, then you might be able to mail order from Domaine Chandon directly. -- Barry Nelson Bell Labs, Allentown ihnp4!aluxz!bnn

#R:aluxz:-120400:inmet:9900004:000:559 inmet!fitch Feb 27 13:19:00 1984 Sorry, I neglected to say where I bought my champagne stopper; I also got mine at Domaine Chandon, last summer (wine, hot weather, ahhh). I have heard that they are also sold by Brookstone Co., 29 School St., Boston, Mass (they make the 'Brookstone Tools' catalog). Apparently the idea came into being when champagne manufacturers started giving the stoppers to restaurants to encourage them to sell their wine by the glass.
