I believe that the German word, coincidentally or not, means male goat, but for the sake of English, avoid using "ram" for a male goat! A ram is a male sheep. You can use "billy goat" or "he-goat" for this purpose. Graham Ross, Tektronix. ...!tektronix!tekmdp!grahamr
