#N:inmet:9900007:000:502 inmet!gwes Jun 13 21:45:00 1984 <hic> A reasonably dangerous sangria recipe: Per quart of lubricant: 2 oz tequila 2 oz triple sec 2 oz simple syrup (dissolve lots of sugar in hot water, then cool syrup) 2 oz ice 1 1/2 pint good red wine (hearty flavored & aromatic) juice of limes, lemons, and oranges as available If this adds up to more than a quart, drink excess. Adding more tequila and triple sec is easy to do, but inadvisable on a hot day... unless you want everyone plastered. Geoff Steckel ( ...!inmet!gwes)

A reasonably appropriate sangria recipe: 8 packages grape Kool-Aid (TM) Any fruit flavored liquors you may have (triple sec, orange brandy, etc.) A coulple of scoops of imitation orange drink (the kind with the plastic pulp added for realism) 2 gallons of water. 1 gallon of rum, vodka, or whatever cheap liquor you have around. Ethanol to make 4 gallons. This was always a favorite at fraternity parties where it was also referred to as "screach" and "Guyana Punch." -Ron
