Wonderful. Light red-garnet color. The wine was slightly thin (typical of
the variety?), but what flavor! Although this is my first Merlot, the
impression that I got from it is wonderful. This was a complex wine, but
still a little on the young side (I think it should age well). There was
ample tannin, and was well balanced. There also were spicy and herbaceous
tones to the wine, good oak, and a supple, mouth filling quality. I wish
that I lived in California and had access to this and others of the type.
High Recommendation: Seek and Buy
