My wife has learned of an 800 number for information on the 1985 Napa Valley Grape Crush. The number has a recorded message of approximately five minutes in length. It is updated weekly. This week it reports that the crush has started, with some early Chardonnay, Gerwurztraminer, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir being pressed. Acid levels are said to be higher than normal. It's an entertaining recording, and its free. Call (800)-85CRUSH. Enjoy. -- dave bauer (303)538-4482 AT&T Information Systems Laboratories, Denver ihnp4!druxv!dlb 11900 N. "We're sorry. You have dialled a number that cannot be reached from
your calling area" (408 - Northern CA).
Great. Don't let the locals know how the crush is going.
