The damned tune has haunted me since, the lyrics just out of touch, the sort of thing that drives men (and women) mad... If you can't understand the anachronisms, maybe you weren't born yet: There's a holdup in the Bronx, Brooklyn's broken out in fights, There's a traffic jam in Harlem That's backed up to Jackson Heights There's a scout troop short a child, Kruschev's due at Idlewild... Car 54, where are you? If there's a second or succeeding verse, I have no recollection of it, and if I have any of the lyrics wrong, I don't want to know. Good Night. =Ned=
