Site name: isrnix What its all about: We have an 11/44 running UNIX V7/m 2.1 with 2 RL02's (20 meg), 4 dialups, a TM11 tape drive (made by kennedy) and an SMS floppy drive that emulates an RX02. Soon we will be upgrading with a 300mb CDC drive. The machine belongs to the department of sociology here at Indiana University. It is used at the moment for dissertations, papers and textual analysis. Contact persons: Greg Travis - Institute for social research, Bloomington Indiana. 1022 E. 3'rd street. We exchange both mail and news with them (they are our only current link into the net). Willingness (or lack thereof) to connect to new sites: Willing, although it might be better to wait till we get the new disk (end of the summer), right now all of our incoming news has to goto floppys because of space problems!
