I just got back from an IBM presentation. It was mainly about the
IBM PC/XT and the VM/PC, but there was a little bit on the Peabrain (you
know, the IBM PC Jr. (does that stand for Junker?)). My friends and I came
up with some good questions which were never fully answered to our satis-
faction. SO if the wise readers of the net can help us with these:
What's the difference between a Moonie and an IBM sales rep?
The best we could come up with were:
a) The Moonie gives up easier.
and
b) The Moonie doesn't get your phone number or put your name on
a mailing list.
So, again, any help in answering this important question would be appreciated.
From the truly menacing,
/- -\ but usually underestimated,

An uncle of mine has been employed all of his working life by IBM. He began at age 18 as a (mechanical!) typewriter repairman and worked his way up with the company. Now he's an engineer doing something with main- frames. The standing joke in our family has always been to ask his wife if he really has "IBM" embroidered on his pyjamas.
