I have a friend who works for Apple's documentation dept. as a technical
writer. He came to my Halloween Party (to give you some idea of the age of
this rumor), with MacIntosh Hard hat, and MacIntosh Sweatshirt, and all
he would say was that `The marketing dept. is in full swing, and all bets
are off after next Tuesday' (Which is when IBM announced the PCjr).
It is amazing how silent Apple has been since then...
