[net.rumor] RAINBOWs

I think that the book could also be "Hidden dangers of the Rainbow" by
Constance Comby(SP). A "revelation" about the New Age Movement.

Note: Other "New Age" baddies!
	Superman
	Starwars

THAT'S IT!!!!!!! Constance Comby. WHoever turned on the flame over
the Aquarian Conspiracy, I apologize. CHristianity Today ran a
piece on her around last Christmas sometime, and did a reasonable
job of explaining her views and why they'd be of interest to some
Fundementalists.

I was reminded reading the article of all the brouhaha over the
"Peace Symbol"during the days when it was unCHristian to question
American involvement in SE asia (in my little corner of the Universe,
anyhow). THere were numerous dark hints about the symbol being an
inverted and broken cross.

It wasn't until years later that I finally ren into someone who
actually knew where the symbol came from. They were British, and
active in the Nuclear Disarmament movement in the late 50's. The
symbol uses the two semaphore symbols for "N" and "D" (Nuclear
Disarmament) superimposed within a circle. Supposedly, the two
letters were originally used separately in the early British
CND literature, until someone came up with the snappy symbol.

Besides, if one is at all familiar with the Hebrew Scriptures, the
Rainbow is about as undreadful a sign as I can imagine. It all
depends on the symbols you kNOAH about.....

ciao....
