gleaned from Jan. Computer Design:

Hitachi, Ltd leaked news of its plans to build a 68000-compatible 32-bit
microcomputer at a recent Tokyo conference. Expected release is 1987.
Called the Micro 32, it is anticipated to feature:

o CMOS chip with 420,000 transistors
	o 5 million IPS
	o 20-MHz interal clock (40-MHz external)
o 32 bit bus will perform full multiply and divide on 32-bit data
	o pipeline architecture
	o high speed cache memory
o full upward compatiblity with the Motorola 68000
o maybe 68020 compatible, but probably 'several steps beyond'

On the day of the Hitachi announcement, Motorola's stock was the most active
on the NYSE, falling $1.625.

Tomorrow we'll live for the moment,
