I've been hearing vague rumors about a new album by Peter Gabriel in the works. He is supposed to have visited Brazil for ideas this time (as he visited Africa for his last album). Anyone know anything about this? Real information and rumors are both acceptable.

Real > information and rumors are both acceptable. Both Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel each have four albums. For both of them, their albums came out in 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1982. Kate Bush is due to have a new album out within a month or so (it has already been completed). This means that Peter Gabriel must be coming out with an album this year too. They wouldn't want to break up such a nice pattern now would they? "We raise our hats to the strange phenomena Soul birds of a feather flock together," Doug Alan mit-eddie!nessus Nessus@MIT-MC

I beg to differ. Peter's first solo album was released in 1977. Bob

> I beg to differ. Peter's first solo album was released in 1977. > Bob Oops. You're right. But that's okay -- so did Kate Bush's first album, so that doesn't ruin my theory. For both of them their albums came out in 1977, 1978, 1980, and 1982. (By mistake I typed 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1982 in a previous message.) Each's fifth album (because certainly Peter Gabriel wouldn't mess up such a nice pattern) will be out in 1985. Anyone notice a pattern of these albums getting spaced farther and farther apart. I hope that we can expect number six before 1989. Jeux sans frontieres, Doug Alan mit-eddie!nessus Nessus@MIT-MC
