I've heard two conflicting rumors about Kate Bush's new album. A friend told me that his friend called up EMI-America in LA and EMI in London and was told that Kate is still recording it and it wouldn't be out until May at the very earliest. I wrote a letter to "Break-Through" (who in December had said that EMI claimed that Kate's new album had been totally completed, they had the finished tapes, and it might be released in England sometime around February). "Break-Through" replied "... maybe April 23rd if we're lucky." My own worst fears guess would be that the Kate Bush's new album was finished and given to EMI who decided it wasn't commercial enough and told her to go back and do something more commercial. I hope this isn't so, but I'm paranoid. The more uncommercial Kate gets, the better she gets! There was a rumor going around Boston that Pink Floyd was going to do a new album. Later there was another rumor that they weren't going to do a new album after all. Does anybody know anything more about this?
