I spent a lot of time hearing from New Yorkers of the craziness of Crazy Eddie commercials. When cable finally arrived, I found them tame. Why? You haven't lived until you've seen years and years of House Of Guitars (HOG to those of us who know and love it) commercials, here is Rochester, NY. They are generally stream of consciousness (sp?), with the owner filming what he feels like, and letting the camera run for thirty seconds. He has worn rabbit ears and repeated "Hop Hop I am the Easter Bunny" for the entire commercial as someone else does the voice over. I can go on, but nothing does these justice. (I like the ads). Not to be outdone, a second local record dealer named Buzzo does commercials where he, or a group, sings Buzzo, Buzzo, Buzzo, the Big B, Buzzo.... **Does this really belong on net.rumor???****** David Esan (!moscom!de)
