"After a recent press conference announcing the purchase of Hughes Aircraft company by General Motors speculation was rampant about what the first commercial product would be produced by this joint effort. Sources close to the R&D staff of both companies said that GM was trying to get the new generation of professionals, or yuppies, as they are sometimes called into the larger, more stately, american cars. In an effort provide a car that was technically appealing as well as practical these sources indicated that GM would provide a "stealth" option on its '87 model of the Caddillac Seville. This thought to be an ideal way to cut down on the unneccessary expense and inherent unreliability of radar detectors used in cars today. Neither GM or Hughes officals could be reached to confirm or deny this rumor." --Chuck [This message could indeed be the opinion of my avocado plant, as it was seen sitting idly in a Caddilac showroom recently.] -- - - - D I S C L A I M E R - - - {ihnp4,fortune}!dual\ All opinions expressed herein are my {qantel,idi}-> !intelca!cem own and not those of my employer, my {ucbvax,hao}!hplabs/ friends, or my avocado plant. :-}
