I always liked taking notes because it made me organize the lecture. To take proper notes, one should be thinking of the relationship of the information, and noting it in that organized way. Just copying the words said by the instructor does no good--and is not what note-taking is all about. Proper note-taking does not keep one from thinking and asking questions--it in fact encourages it. I suspect that many students do not know how to take notes in this way. If an instructor gave me his notes, (and some have) I would still take my own. I get a lot more out of the class. -- Sue Brezden Real World: Room 1B17 Net World: ihnp4!drutx!slb AT&T Information Systems 11900 North Pecos Westminster, Co. 80234 (303)538-3829 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Your god may be dead, but mine aren't. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
