**"FLASHES"** - ATT Info Systems just (2:00) announced that they will lay off 24,000 employees. The announcement was made simultaneously over loudspeakers at all facilities. As part of the layoff, a manufacturing plant in Louisiana will be closed (2000 people). A new manufacturing plant will be opened in Singapore with about 2000 new employees there (this should get them some press). **END**
