[this is not a rumour... so why am I posting this... well anyway...]
Our former system manager here used to play wonderfull Christmas carols
on our TU-78 by writing on the tape with different block sizes and
such. It was just the thing to make me feel at home when I as stuck
doing an epoch of everything just before Christmas...
It kinda sounded like a sick cow singing... (Moaaaaan-Moan-Moan-Moaaaannn...)
(then again, I'm the guy they catch dancing to the lineprinter!)
