This rumor is completely false.  The idea of a dead newsgroup (particularly
net.bizarre) invading net.rumor is ludicrous.  So don't panic, don't salt
banana slugs, and don't feed seagulls alka-seltzer, because everything is
fine.  There is no "takeover" underway.
