Rumor has it that this is the first time for Ms. Jan to know
what the net is all about!!!

Here is one that was leaked out of a local software company.

Apple will introduce a daughter board for the Mac Plus that
contains a 68020 and 68881 running at 16mhz.

My personal speculation is that if such a beast exists, it will
be announced along side of the Jonathan. Any takers?

I heard a rumor the other day. Can anyone verify this?

Come on Matthew -- you know damn well I was the one who heard the
rumor. You ought to, anyway, since I was the one who told it to you. The
number of false, unsubstantiated rumors on this newsgroup makes me sick.
People ought to check and see if they have a real rumor, or just heard
something from somebody before they post this kind of garbage!

Imagine what the world would be like if football was a worthy ritual performed
in stadiums but mathematics was a misunderstood activity ignored by almost all.

No. Are there any more rumors with which I can be of assistance?

It seems to me that the main difference between the computer horror stories
and the articles flaming them are that the computer horror stories are
interesting and entertaining. Sigh...
