Can anything be done about the near-infitine: "this topic does NOT belong on NET.such&such" It, alone, seems to generate a lot of flaming, and a lot of mess. Just curious. Gryphon

The technology for suppressing both the does-not-belong and the flaming already exists and is in widespread use.
