   I just read a posting by someone who wanted to know about more books
about the Titanic. I can think of authors,such as Col. Gracie who wrote
a book right after the disaster, in fact if I recall It is not totally
complete. He died before he could finish it.  However It was published
and can be found in some libraries.

 2nd Officer Lightoller wrote a book in the 30s

Perhaps the most unusual book written about the Titanic is the first one
published after the disaster (something like 2 months later)  It is based
on all the newspaper reports. (which were not very accurate) And it makes 
facinating reading, because it's just so bad!!

The most unusual Titanic book is the one referenced in _A Night To
Remember_, a novel that was written some years BEFORE the Titanic was even
built that correctly predicted many details of the disaster and was close
on many more.
