Here's a little something to stir up some mid-summer baseball discussion: As we all know, the Americans finally defeated the Nationals in the annual All-Star classic after a 12 year drought. Of course this does not indicate any American League superiority, even considering the magnitude of this year's victory. It does, however, raise a few questions for discussion. 1.) Does the National League's record of 19 wins in 20 years indicate that the NL is *really* superior to the AL? Does it indicate anything? 2.) If the NL as a whole is not superior, why did they win 19 of 20 games? 3.) Does anybody *really* care about the All-Star game? A relieved AL fan, Joe Twicken
