Here are the answers to the trivia quiz posted here a few weeks ago.


1)  Who was the last man to catch a major league game pitched by Babe Ruth?

    Joe Glenn, the backup catcher for the 1933 Yankees (behind Bill Dickey)
    only played in five games that year, but that was one of them.

2)  Off what pitcher did Carlton Fisk hit his memorable homer in the sixth
    game of the 1975 Series?

    Pat Darcy.

3)  Off what pitcher did Hank Aaron hit his 714th home run?  His 715th?  Who
    caught his 715th?  Who sang the national anthem at that game?

    Jack Billingham.  Al Downing.  Relief pitcher Tom House.  Pearl Bailey.

4)  Off what pitcher did Vic Wertz hit his blast in the 1954 World Series
    (the one Mays caught)?

    Don Liddle.

5)  What do the following players have in common?
