Luxury boxes and paint aren't the oncoming menace in the renovation of
Shea; if the reports I hear are true, they're planning on putting Astroturf
there. Why???? Are they trying to make Shea into another N.L. clone-park?
Next thing you know they'll take away the rest of the Big Shea's character by
closing La Guardia Airport :-) I'll take Yankee Stadium, Fenway, or Wrigley
any day.
Bring back the Serval Zippers sign! *

one used to be able to see the aforementioned sign shining brightly over
the center field fence.
