A team that has traded away good players? Take five minutes and see how many stars, super-stars, etc the N.Y. Mets have traded away over the last 15 years. Most of them were traded while they still had at least a couple of good years left. Lets see, McGraw, Agee, Seaver, Koosman, Staub,........ad nauseum. Have fun. Amos Otis, Jeff Reordan (?), Ken Singleton and Nolan Ryan are certainly worthy of making this list explicitly. However, the current general management seems committed to husbanding their talent much better than did past regimes.

{ } One team qualifies better than any other to be called a Major League Farm Club - the Dodgers. Their ample talent has overflowed to the rest of baseball. To wit: Sutton, Hough, Sutcliffe, Rhoden, Stewart are now the aces of their respective staffs; and don't forget Garvey, Smith, Lopes, Baker, Hatcher, Buckner, Kittle, Perconte, and Wright. Of course, there is still enough talent left (they only kept those who weren't good enough for the *big* club). Sorry if this comes out unreadable, this is my first try.
