[net.sport.baseball] Dodgers as a farm club??

Oh let`s get serious. When we`re talking farm club, I
assumed we meant guys who broke in with team A, then
went to team B or C and became superstars. Certainly
a good number of players on the Dodger list were well
established as superstars (Sutton, Garvey, Buckner, Lopes, etc)
before they got traded. I think the choice of the Indians
was a very good one to match up with my nomination of the
Cubs. The Astros list also included quite a few good
nominations.

Hello from the FROZEN North,

What is this about sour graping about bad trades. John McHale
made enough bone head (sp?) trades in the past that he has all but disappeared
from the Expos head office. Do you remember these?

	with Baltimore:

		Gary Roenicke for ????
Ken Singleton and Mike Torrez for Dave McNally and
						  Rich Coggins

NOTE: After the last trade Coggins opened a hardware store and McNally became
	a terminal Hicupper (really!)

See you down at the Cee-ment Stadium
