Hence, even if a contemporary team like Detroit were to win 111 games, their winning PERCENTAGE would be lower than Cleveland's must have been. So, all of you stat fans, what was Cleveland's winning percentage in the '54 season, and how many would a team have to win nowadays to do better? Stanley Krolikoski U of illinois at U-C
