Scott Barman. a confessed Braves-hater, said that the fans here in Atlanta go the games because it's "chic" as in LA... Beg to differ Scott...try "FAIR-WEATHER" fans as a description, and then tell me if you think the team deserves your hatred... it seems that like anything else, nobody wants you when you're down and out. I've been a Yankee's fan for years, well, as long as Reggie was there, and only paid attention to the Braves when Bobby Cox took over the reins. It's been the concensus among a lot of folks I talk to that he and the late Bill Lucas (director of personnel I beleive was his title) were the ones responsible for putting together the team that Torre took over. Cox'x success in Toronto seems to bear that out. I do wish they'd given him one more year... Anyway, the fans are still supporting them now, even in the midst of the terrible way they're playing right now... HEY RUSS!!!! HANG IN THERE>>> THESE GUYS CAN'T GO 4-FOR-48 WITH MEN IN SCORING POSITION ALL SEASON!!!! (CAN THEY????) :-) DENNIS

Maybe fair weather is a better term, but does that cover the society types
that I saw this past weekend? Some of those females were so air-headed,
they all screemed "TOUCHDOWN" when a Brave scored (no joke!)!
