Yogi managed the '64 Yanks to 1st - then lost the W.S. to the Cards. The Yanks rewarded him by firing him and hiring the Cards manager (Johnny Keane) for '65. Result: 6th place, and 11 years of mediocrity. I think Steinbrenner is too late to repay the debt... Let's hear it for 11 more .500 years!!!
