Well, net NL fans, how about a poll of our readership for the above
awards before the official ones come out? Send your first three
choices (clearly labelled) to me, and I'll award 3 pts for a 1st place
vote, 2 for a 2nd, and 1 for a 3rd. In about a week I'll post the
totals. It would be nice if someone else ran a similar beauty contest
for the AL.

MVP - Should go to Tony Gwynn as he batted .352 and has done some outstanding fielding. However, because the Cubs did so well(Until Sunday - GO PADRES!), Sandberg will probably get it.
