[net.sport.baseball] losing a no hitter

Does anyone know how Tom Hughes lost 5-0 in a game in which
he pitched a no-hitter? (Hint: he was pitching for the Yankees).

Is this a quiz? Here are some possible answers:
   1) He walked 22 batters, mostly in the 3rd inning.
   2) His shortstop committed 37 errors. The rest of the team
      couldn't field either.
   3) He hit 14 batters in the 5th inning.
   4) Steinbrenner paid off the scorekeeper.
Is this a real game, and are you soliciting real information? or is
this a puzzle? Am I getting warm?

Besides the above four ways, a pitcher can easily lose a game
in a no-hitter. He is credited with the no-hitter after he pitches nine
innings. He might have lost the game in extra innings.
