Here's a few of my favorite baseball trivium...
1). Who was the only player to win a league MVP and Rookie of the
Year award in the same year? (easy)
2) Who is the only player to win the Rookie of the Year and Cy
Young award in the same year? (also easy)
3) Many years ago, the spitball was made illegal. However, pitchers
who used the spitball regularly were allowed to continue for the
remainder of their careers. Who threw the last legal spitball ?
4) In the early 70's, the American league adopted the designated
hitter rule. Who was the last American league pitcher to hit
a home run in the regular season ?
