How does a team get 2 singles, 2 doubles, 2 triples, and 2 stolen bases in one inning and not score? They play Baltimore in the AL Championship. Lew Mammel, Jr. ihuxr!lew

How does a team get 2 singles, 2 doubles, 2 triples, and 2 stolen bases in one inning and not score? As a devoted cubbie fan, this problem is easy. I speak from experience when I say the solution is: 1)triple 2)picked off base 3)triple 4)picked off base 5)double 6)steal third 7)bunt single-runner doesnt advance 8)steal second 9)bunt single-runners dont advance

This is only 1 double. If you add a double with the batter reaching second before the runner on second passes the runner on third, with obviously no one scoring before the pass, you have your second double.

I'm not sure of the 2nd and 4th answers, but here goes on the other 3: 1 - The 1st DH was Ron Bloomberg, who, I believe, walked with the bases loaded. 3 - Alex Johnson (Cal) beat out Carl Yastrzemski (Bos), each finishing at .328. 5 - Must have been Oscar Gamble when he was with the White Sox. His batting helmet barely fit... - Don Goguen DEC/Nashua, NH Posted: Mon 11-Mar-1985 09:01 EST To: @DIST:NETBB
