	When a pinch-hitter comes to the plate, he is replacing one of the
nine players in the existing lineup, whether that player be the pitcher or
not.  As a full-fledged member of the lineup (for the moment), he would take
another turn at bat if the situation warranted it.

	OK, enough of the rulebook stuff...I just heard that Ueberroth wants
to poll America on other controversial topics besides the (yuch) DH.  There
is only one problem: a polling firm hasn't been chosen yet.  So hold on,
baseball fanatics -- this poll will get done (if not this year, there's always
next year).
