Yes David Rubin, I did err when I made Ozzie Smith the Phillie shortstop in 1980, forgive me. But you are wrong when you say that artificial turf only changes the environment and not the game, that's a lame excuse and you know it. If you want an example of how it changes the game I'll give you one. The other night during a game between the Twins and the Yankees a fly ball was hit to rightcenter and against the backdrop of the ceiling of the Metrodome (better known as the homerdome) the ball fell out of the vision of both Ricky Henderson and Bobby Meachum, when it finally came down it hit the "carpet" and bounced high enough to qualify it as a pop-up, during all of this the Twins scored two runs. Don't evade the issue David, it changes the game as much if not more than the DH. Has anyone out in netland been to the Stade Olympique in Montreal? Watching a ballgame there is akin to watching baseball in a funeral parlour! David Cherson
