I don't yawn watching a good finesse pitcher display the art he has acquired. If you think this is something you only find in the AL you've been sleeping. Granted you might see more blazing fast low pitching in the NL, but the true quality pitchers that last learn 'finesse'. Look at Dwight Gooden already realizing that fastballs don't work alone. Look at Tom Seaver, who pitched for years in the NL, using his 'finesse' along with his good fastball.
