How about if a pitcher goes to his mouth 4 times while on the mound (or just refuses to pitch 4 times). The batter goes to first, and is thrown out stealing. Repeat this 3 times an inning, 9 times a game, and add hot water. It seems to me that this pitcher could have a complete game without throwing a legal pitch. In fact it's a no-hitter. As a side-note: Gaylord Perry may well have completed MANY games without throwing a "legal" pitch. Yours, Jon Hanrath ihnp4!ltuxa!jmh
