We have a winner! Bernie Dougan was the first to correctly name 
MANNY TRILLO as the player in question. Since then I have received
a couple more correct guesses. I think Hints 2 & 3 might have given
it away. Anyway, Bernie's Cheerios have been sent to him so that he
will be able to enjoy them at his leisure.
