Ken O'Dea with 42; I'm sorry, he played for the NY Giants.

I'll take a guess and say Ken Holtzman. I remember him hitting a homer around 1974, but it might have been in the World Series.

I agree, Dan. I will answer these without consulting anyone/anything.

Q1. I think it was Ron Blomberg of the Yankees

Q2. I don't know. How 'bout Bobby Murcer?

Q3. Alex Johnson won it. He was 202/614, which figures to .32899
Carl Yastrzemski was second. He was 186/566 for .3286219

Q4. Hank Aaron was traded for Davey May of the Brewers between the
     1974 and 1975 seasons.

Q5. I have to guess it was Oscar Gamble, but who measured his hair?

	1. Who is the all-time hit by pitch leader?

Ron Hunt of the Expos and Mets and a few others.

	2. Who gave up Carl Yastrzemski's 3000th hit?

I remember it was against the Yankees in '79 and based on the next question
it seems like a reliever so I'll guess Gossage.

	3. What starting pitcher made his last major league appearance in
	   the same game?

Catfish Hunter. Its gotta be.

	4. Name the first pennant winning team in the 20th century to use
more than one manager in their pennant winning year?

I think the last was the '78 Yankees (Martin & Lemon). Could they be the
first also?

Atlanta reliever Tom House caught Hank's shot in the bullpen.

I believe the last pennant winning team this century to use two
managers was the 1983 Phillies. Pat Corrales (now the Indians
manager) managed the first half of the year, and then general
manager Paul Owens stepped down to manage the second half of the
season. The Phillies lost to Baltimore in the Series that year.

I received a decent number of replies to my trivia question. For those
others who want to know the answers:

1- Name the only pitcher to play in every game of a 7-game World Series.

*Darold Knowles

2- The Yankees lost the 1976 WS in 4 straight to the Reds. Who hit their
only home run? (hint - a weak hitting platoon player)

*Jim Mason. And I was twice informed it was in his only at bat.

3- About 7 years ago or more everyone thought the Expos had an outfield
that would be together for 10 to 15 years. Needless to say this hasn't
   come true. Who are they?

*Warren Cromartie, Ellis Valentine, Andre Dawson.

4- And who remembers the Tiger's centerfielder who was forced to come in and
play shortstop in the '68 WS?

*Mickey Stanley

And the winners (of nothing in particular except seeing there name in
electrons):

Don Goguen - 4 right + 3 of my follow-up 4
RA Novo - 3 right
David Rubin - 3 right
Dave Van Handel - 3 right
spuxll!radio (raf) - 2 right
Bruce Gambel - 1 right + my single follow-up + I missed his follow-up.
Eric M. Wilcots - 1 right
