Well, just in case there were some of you that didn't know the answer, the three other teams that have not made it to the World Series are: Montreal, California, and Houston. The other teams not to make it, as mentioned in the previous article, are: Toronto, Texas, and Seattle (none of these have made post season play). For the person who responded to me with Minnesota; they played a seven game World Series against the LA Dodgers in 1965 and unfortunately lost. Go ahead and flame me Dodger fans, it's fuel for a die-hard Yankee fan. Another triv bit: This division has provided only two World Series contenders(of course since playoffs started in 1969). Name the two teams, the year(s) they participated, their respective opponents, and the outcome. No hints should be necessary. \ / |\\ / | | \| | | |\ | | | \| John B. Well, given the fact that the Angels, Seatlle, and Texas have never EVER made it to the WS, it's obvious the division must be the AL west and the teams are Oakland and Kansas City, since Chicago hasn't made it for awhile. I'm not sure exactly when they were in, although I believe the A's were there mostly during the early 70's and Kansas City has appeared two or three times at least in the late 70's - early 80's (twice against Philly I think-- they won at least one of those).
