Jose Canseco, just up from AAA, continues to hit well.
In addition to the 474' homer reported the other day, he has hit
estimated 410' and 412' shots. Five homers since coming up. 374 BA.
In AA - Huntsville this season he hit 26 homers.
When he was called up to AAA, they petitioned A's management to
keep him an extra weekend. Capacity crowds in Huntsville led to
a street being named after him! (long before Pete Rose Way).
He was only in AAA - Tacoma long enough to hit about 13 homers
before moving up to the bigs.
