[net.sport.baseball] What could be in 1986...

jimmy@scgvaxd.UUCP (Jim Raisanen) (10/29/85)

Now that the American League has proven that it has the best teams
for the third year in a row, we can look to 1986 and hope that the
winter is short and not so cold. It was sad to see St. Louis lose
so ungraciously in what was supposedly the fall classic. It was
kind of funny to see Andujar get thrown out though!!!

Can the Jays come back without Bobby Cox?
Will the TIGERS play ball again like they did in 84?
Can Roger Craig bring the Giants up for their once per four year
run at a pennant?
Will St Louis ever be the same?
Will KC have the same fate as so many World Champs?
Will Seattle and SF play where they are now?
When will Billy be rehired by George?
Will the Braves come alive with Cox?
Let us not forget all who have not been mentioned!

NOW...let all of us TIGER fans bow our heads in a moment of silence
as our Boys are no longer the World Champions ;'( ............
...............................................................

Now let us rejoice at the memories we have from that experience!!!

Congratulations Kansas City!

TIGERS IN 86!!!!
