Can someone who's read the Chicago papers tell me what the Cubs view of the
Trillo trade is? Is Trillo:
a). Simply a back-up infielder, along with Speier
b). Play second-base, moving Sandberg back to third...
1). ...and Cey's contract get's eaten
2). ...and Cey is an extraordinarily high-paid sub/pinch-hitter
3). ...and Cey is bought out of his no-trade clause and dealt
to the American League as a DH>
c.) Shifted to third base, with variations noted in b.) above.
