I think I have finally thrown in the towel on the Red Sox. After
years of great hitting and little or no pitching you'd think they
would learn. Especially with all the talk at the end of the season
of 'major changes'. I mean look at this. A very mediocre pitcher
in Hurst (great one start, horrible the next) for an old but talented
starter, a solid middle or short reliever, and two young arms who have
shown some promise.
WHAT'S THE PROBLEM RED SOX???????????????????
I mean would we have too good of a pitching staff or something?
Let's face it: third is the best you can hope for with the present
team, and that's with banner years from 6 or 7 of the hitters.
