There is much to be said about cheating at Rogue. Unfortunately it is all in the form of nasty and unprintable insults. Let it suffice to say that anyone who can spend hour upon hour trying to crack security on Rogue, but who lacks the patience (, coolness, whatever) to win legitimately, must have a severe personality disorder. Anyone who does this and then publishes the results, sucks eggs. This means you, ucbarpa!reeds, whoever you are. I am pretty flamed-on at the cheapening of total wins everywhere caused by this diseased Rascal program. Charles Poirier aka Champignon Charlie, three-time rogue 5.2 winner

While I agree fully on your comments about cheating at rogue, i.e. I am dead against it as far as my own playing is concerned, I can see why some people would enjoy the challenge. As a point of information, however, a friend of mine just finished setting rascal up to break 5.0, and it took him not hours, but less than 15 minutes. There should be a better encryption scheme, though in reality none is foolproof. This is how some people get their jollies. I bet we can beat them by legitimate means.

I think there should be only 1 score per userid in the top 10 list in rogue 5.2. Of course, why would anyone normal cheat at Rogue anyway?? Gets all the fun and chellenge out of it. In essence, he whoever cheats at Rogue ruins the game for himself. Regards, Felix Luk
