It`s been pointed out that I may have made a mistake on my article about Floyd Bannister signing with the W. Sox. I meant to say that his E.R.A. has never been BELOW 3.40. It`s true that were it the opposite, that would be pretty good. Incidentally, I hear Steve Garvey is asking a mint for his services. After seeing the Kemp and Bannister salaries, who can blame him?
