Trivia time: Out of all the teams in the NFL, USFL, NBA, NHL, and major league baseball(AL & NL), there are seven teams which share the same nickname. To get you started, I'll give you an example: St. Louis Cardinals of baseball & St. Louis Cardinals of NFL Here's another clue: the other six answers have teams in different cities but the same nickname (for instance, "IF" the Columbus Clippers WERE in major league baseball, they would match with the San Diego Clippers of NBA). Name the other six pairs of teams. ( Looking in the sports section is cheating, and it is even a greater challenge if you do it from memory without writing down all the teams/nicknames you know ) While you're working on that one, name the five nicknames that do not end in `s' out of the same pool of teams/nicknames above. In case you hadn't heard, it's not the San Diego Clippers anymore, it's the Los Angeles Clippers.
